Hay for the Horses

Even in Spring South Dakota temperatures are still cold; over 10 bales of hay will be eaten each day—that is as much as 12,000 pounds of hay per day.

On average, we feed our wild mustangs fifteen (15) round bales a day at a cost of $70,000.00 per month to feed the herd during the winter months.
