Due to the severe drought for the last three years and the rising costs of fuel, our hay costs have skyrocketed for the remaining months of 2023 and into 2024.
It takes an average of 15 round bales of hay each day to feed our herds. And that will cost about $85,000 month.
Every. Single. Month. And we need to start bringing in hay to prepare for the winter.
