2020 Water Projects

Rise to the Challenge by supporting the 2020 Water Projects!

Your help is needed today to support these 2 very important projects.  The combined estimated costs for the new well and pond restoration projects total $100,000.

A $50,000 matching gift challenge has been offered by an anonymous long-time Sanctuary supporter - so your gift will be doubled!

There are 2 major water projects "on tap" for 2020:

1) A new well will be drilled in the Mustang Meadows property.  This will provide fresh water for the wild horses and native wildlife that reside in that area of the Sanctuary.

2) Efforts are being made to repair the ponds and their dams primarily in the area of the Sanctuary designated for the Spanish mustangs.  Strategic excavation efforts are bringing new depth and repaired dames to several ponds, two of which have not held water for years.
